Verwood Town FC - Phil Allen Page Background Sadly Rifleman Phil Allen aged 20 from Verwood, a member of 2 Rifles was killed in Afghanistan last November (2009). In memory of Phil, a special football match was held between Phil's Battalion '2 Rifles' and Phil's home town Club 'Verwood Town FC' Through this event, Funds were raised for 'The Rifles Charities' and '2 Rifles'.
