This turned out to be an aerial battle. Not much on the deck resulted in a few stiff necks.

Follands had the first attempt on goal but Dinnivan’s handling was more than adequate to cope. A game of headers at both ends was evens.

10 minutes gone and another skier from Follands was gathered on the edge edge our box by Weardon. Two Folland’s foragers raced in, Weardon used Dinnivan’s long range clearances with a pass back. It fell nicely for Grzybowski. An excellent chip cleared the keeper and nestled in the back of then net. 1-0.

Follands reacted stepping up their pace with even higher balls in the air.

We created chances. Some clear cut but none hitting back of the net.

Patmore and Lordache had shots but straight down the keepers throat.

Another missile launch from Follands dropped in the penalty box. A scramble for the ball and the ref judged a foul had been committed !!!! Hotly disputed the decision stood and Dinnivan had no chance with the penalty. 1-1.

Half Time. 1-1

The second half was a carbon copy of the first. Both ends had regular visits from the ball. Toe enders, order of the day.

Corners were frequent but both sides flooded areas preventing clear sight of goal.

The half finished with the score board unchanged from half time.

Result. 1-1
