Callum Whitelaw coasted past his only three minutes gone but put his shot inches past the post. Jack Broad broke free a minute later but put his shot over the bar.!!

A rousing start and to continue.

Frimley massed its defence and survived several shots in the box. The keeper's handling was exceptional.

10 gone .. Davis put a shot over the bar and Broad put an angled shot into the side netting.

We had pushed on too far. 20 minutes on the clock and Frimley broke free to score past Mitchell. A lesson learned. 0-1.

We stepped up pace. Danvers went close with a great volley and then delivered a pin point cross for Whitelaw to beat the keeper with a header but agonised as the ball clipped the bar and flipped over for a dead ball kick.

We continued pressurising but fired blanks in front of the sticks.

McHale Whitelaw and Smith all had shots that sailed past the post before the half time whistle.

Half Time. 0-1

Frimley looked tighter in defence at the re start but with Kay and Broad dominating mid field we continued on top of play.

Frimley had a brief spell of possession earning a corner with 15 gone. Mitchell took a catch off heads and put Broad free on the right. A good cross found White. White's ball wide for McHale split Frimley's back four but McHale topped his shot giving the keeper an easy catch.

The linesman couldn't match the pace of our forward line and had to be relieved of his flag with ten minutes left.

Pope took a well earned break making way for Whitelaw (H). Kerr came on for Flachi.

We had a frantic end to the game earning a couple of corners but still fired blanks in front of the sticks.

A much better performance all round but still suffering a goal famine.
