A huge thank you the U11 team, and to the coaches and parents that made this happen…what an achievement! We are very blessed to have such amazing volunteers & families that support our VTFC Youth teams and charities.
We not only raised the funds for the teams' kit for the season, but also raised a whopping extra £1000 for the British Heart Foundation. Without the additional support of more volunteers - Adwear Clothing who printed the shirts & Jade Home Care's donation this also wouldn't have been possible. Thank you so much. And another massive thank you to Craig Sargeant & his team for making this happen. • News Release (PDF format)

Verwood Town FC are pleased to announce the formation of a Reserve Team for the upcoming football season managed by Tom Curchin. The team will be playing in the Wyvern Hampshire Combination League. Tom has previously been involved with Wimborne Town FC and last season was managing one of their under 18’s teams. Tom says “I am looking forward to the opportunity to step up from under 18’s to men’s football and manage at Verwood Town FC. Having previously played for the youth team before moving into football management it was an easy decision to make to join the management team. My aim is to help develop players so they can progress to play at a higher level. I’m here to bridge the gap and promote an ethos of if you are good enough you are old enough and we want to put players in an environment they enjoy.” Tom is holding player trials on the evening of Wednesday 23rd June at Potterne Park in Verwood. If you are interested in attending, please contact Tom on 07825 250607 for further details and to register.
