"The 2024/25 Season" - is now behind us and the First team (subject to final ratification) are expected to be playing in the Dorset Premier League next season. Preparations are already

Carl Rolfe will be our new Director of Football for the 24/25 season.
Carl commented “I am thrilled to have been offered the role of Director of Football and can’t wait to get started.
My goal is develop and maintain high standards throughout and get the club operating as one.
To integrate the first team’s operations with the rest of the club. One of our greatest strengths is our vibrant youth system and
I aim to ensure continuity between the first team, the under-23s, and the under-18s.
My focus will be on working with Joe, Alex and Jamie in cultivating a strong club identity, culture, and pathway”.

There is a significant amount of young talent at the club progressing through the age groups and Carl's role is key to providing a
pathway through under 18/23 to first team football. Carl, who has been a vital part of our team as the 1st Team Coach, brings a wealth of

Stuart Bourne, expanding on his current role developing the Club's Social media content has now been appointed as Commercial Manager.
In this role, Stuart seek to maintain and strenghen relationhips with existing partners and develop new avenues for sponsorship and income.
To support Stuart in his Digiatal and Social Media activities he will be joined by
Samuel Shorey who comes with a background of Social media and Football Marketing analysis.

Verwood Town FC are excited to announce that Alex Benham has been selected as our new U23's Manager.
Martin Gilman Chairman of Verwood Town FC added “Alex has been an integral part of VTFC for several years, fulfilling roles in management,
coaching, and playing. Currently coaching in the youth section and the U18 team, he has also played for the Verwood Town first team.
The creation of the U23 team aligns with the club's growth strategy to connect youth and senior football. Carl Rolfe from our
1st Team management staff will support Alex, offering young talented players a clear pathway to first-team football and ensuring a seamless transition between the
first team and the U23 squad.”

Verwood Town FC are pleased to announce that we are hosting multiple open training sessions at Potterne Park in June and July.
These sessions are open to experienced football players who wish to be part of our passionate and amazing club.
All sessions will be held at Potterne Park, Potterne Way, Verwood, BH21 6RS. We are looking forward to hearing from you!
